Tech Hour - Control the ground risks of drone operations with DROSERA©.

DROSERA© software assesses ground risks when preparing drone missions. It facilitates the implementation of the SORA (Specific Operations Risk Assessment) methodology, as defined by the EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) for obtaining an operating authorization. To this end, it automatically calculates indicators to quantify and locate ground risks, and produces a global summary of these risks.

Developed within the framework of research-industry partnerships between ONERA, ALTAMETRIS (SNCF RESEAU) and RTE, DROSERA© has been designed from the outset to meet the needs of drone operators and manufacturers. It has benefited from an open approach, taking into account numerous exchanges with participants in the "Facilitation des Opérations de Grande Elongation" working groups led by the French Civil Aviation Safety Directorate (DGAC/DSAC).
